Ward's Fruit and Produce, a fourth-generation Family Owned company, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative to join our team! The ideal candidate will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue.

Summary: To promote and sell products and services on a base salary + commission basis through good customer service and effective sales techniques by performing the following duties. This is a full time position and you will be managing territories in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary. Also with bimonthly travel to Wilmington and nearby coastal areas and overnight stay with company provided per diem, lodging and vehicle.

Pay: This position will pay weekly with a scaled salary and uncapped commission on originated accounts. Salary will be scaled so that it is higher in the first year to give the rep time to train and bring on commissioned accounts. Income potential unlimited.

Hours: 40 a week, Starting Schedule Below:
Monday 7am - 3pm in our Raleigh Office

Tuesday-Friday will be report to the office at 8am to collect the company vehicle and then go to meetings, returning by 4pm. After a few months proven reliability selected employee will be able to drive gps monitored sales vehicle home and leave from their home on sales days for meetings while working remotely in between.

Weekend Availability - Saturdays will require occasional email and phone calls with customers that you will need to direct back to office

Duties and Responsibilities include the below, other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities:
Manages social media pages with creative updates weekly

Promotes and sells products, services and/or related accessories through suggestive sales techniques to meet and surpass profitability goals.

Prospect and contact potential customers weekly as well as regular check-ins with existing customer base

Provides customer with product price quotations, ordering, and credit procedures.

Submits plan for the week on Mondays to be approved by management

Documents detailed daily notes of sales visits and sets follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments

Updates notes in our CRM, Hubspot, with sales activities.

Relays appropriate information to customers to enhance the company's image.

Researches trends in the industry locally and nationally to maintain current knowledge and specifically meet customer requests.

Receives and resolves customer complaints and problems within a timely manner with management assistance.

Understands and supports sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective

treatment to all customers.

Ensures an attractive and orderly company image at all times through effective sales displays.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Assists in office as needed to cover scheduled time off of office staff
