Full description of the position

Insurance Sales Agent

Looking for a motivated and driven individual that wants to be able to control their own success. As a Sales Professional at the McKinney Agency, you will ensure families and households are protected and prepared to deal with the toughest moments in their life. In doing so, you will help grow this agency and create a successful and more importantly, rewarding career for yourself. You will work as a member of a team-oriented sales force that works every day to make sure the individuals and the agency are successful.

This opportunity offers a unique career opportunity where you work with a local small business, but also have the backing and support of a Fortune 500 brand (Allstate) that customers have recognized and trusted for almost 100 years.

Insurance sales experience is ideal, however if you are a recent grad or interested in starting in a new profession, you may also be a good fit for this agency.

Property & Casualty license is preferred but will consider hiring a candidate who is willing to get licensed within 60 days of start date.

Job Requirements of an Insurance Sales Agent

· Confident self-starter who works well independently

· Excellent verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills

· Maintain a positive and self-motivated attitude

· Sales experience is a plus

· Driven to fulfill customers’ needs

· Must be willing to obtain Property and Casualty insurance license; already possessing a license is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Salary will be based on experience, plus commissions and bonuses

Job Responsibilities of an Insurance Sales Agent

· Be a team player to help grow the agency

· Achieve sales goals through leads and referrals

· Be organized and efficient

· Help protect customers by offering insurance products that will meet their needs

· Conduct needs-based customer policy reviews and update coverage

· Ensure a positive customer experience

Experience:

  • Insurance: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Sales: 1 year (Preferred)

Location:

  • Phoenix, AZ (Preferred)

License:

A valid P&C License (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Paid time off

  • Monday to Friday
