The Role: We are looking for an Inside Sales Coordinator to join our growing team! Our ideal candidate will have an interest in helping customer recycle and exceptional organization skills. This position will be involved in all components of the logistics chain to ensure customer satisfaction, provide dedicated support, and assist in bringing new business aboard.
Helps generate revenue growth by utilizing a consultative selling approach when interacting with prospective and current customers. Responsible for managing existing business and prospecting new relationships to achieve sales goals by developing and implementing sound retention strategies, utilizing strong negotiation efforts to preserve business, and securing contract agreements from previously non-contracted customers. Assists sales and operations personnel as needed to progress customers through the sales cycle.

We manage the flow of recycled materials efficiently and cost-effectively, diverting trash from landfills while helping minimize the environmental footprint of waste materials.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Ability to assist with answering a high volume of incoming phone calls
- Maintains customer accounts and records of interaction with details of inquiries, or comments by entering information in CRM platform.
- Communicates with sales team, plant operations and customers to maintain accurate order and shipment flow.
- Communicates pricing, shipping dates, requests and scheduling changes, and any other appropriate order information to customer to ensure order fulfillment and satisfaction.
- Resolves problems efficiently and effectively. Fields escalation and advanced customer needs to appropriate colleagues.
- Arrange pick-ups and deliveries by working closely with 3PL partners, in house logistics team, and dispatch.
- Perform all required duties and tasks in accordance with United States Recycling Inc.’s financial and accounting procedures.
- Provide administrative support by issuing PO’s, release numbers, obtaining freight rates, monitoring bookings, and inventory.
Experience:
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be detailed and a solution-oriented team player
- Prior experience in waste/recycling/transportation industry a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- High school diploma or GED
