Full description of the position

• Respond to all inbound calls in a consistent, professional, and courteous manner
• Assist Sales Manager with review equipment requests and propose solutions that suit the customer's requirements
• Assist Sales Manager with negotiating rates on equipment rentals in accordance with pricing policies and procedures
• Identify leads for new business and communicate with Sales Manager
• Effectively resolve customer issues and coordinate solutions with Sales Manager
• Communicate delivery needs promptly and accurately to Dispatcher
• Call on lost and/or dormant accounts to generate business
• Determines/understands customer equipment needs and provides alternative equipment suggestions to customers
• Assist Sales Manager with administering rental contracts (new and existing) including on and off rental dates, rates and all ancillary charges, amendments, suspensions (ensuring prompt collection of equipment), terminations, filing of contracts and related paperwork, and checking invoices
• Supports sales efforts by performing prospecting calls, forwarding sales leads and incoming inquiries to the sales group, and acting as a liaison for marketing in respect to product promotions

Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
• Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong planning, problem-solving and negotiation abilities
• Knowledge of construction or related equipment preferred
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to utilize basic computer functions with Microsoft Windows and various software programs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
