Sales Associate

Our growing company is looking for an experienced Sales Representative. This will be a salary + commission position with a protected territory. The successful candidate should have knowledge and experience of working directly with decision makers for developing business relationships to expand the company with profitable sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scheduling appointments, meeting existing customers in order to review product needs and develop new opportunities for sales growth.

• Generating and developing accounts, through cold calling in order to increase revenue.

• Maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the company in a positive manner.

• Providing product quotes to customers as needed.

• Ensuring timely follow-up for orders, shipments and communications with customers and the Company.

Skills Sets:

• Basic computer skills, email, spreadsheet, word documents.

• Mechanical aptitude.

• Team Player, Team Leader skills.

• Strong communicator, verbal and written.

• Comfortable with cold calls and developing new relationships.

• Demonstrated experience calling on municipalities.

Required:

• Personal access to a computer for email, spreadsheets and word documents.

• Reliable personal transportation.

• Personal cell phone for communications.
