Role (Overview of the Position)

• Executes property marketing plans and assists with property showings and applicant screening.

Responsibilities (Tasks Associated with the Role)

• Has an awareness of all available properties and interested parties to ensure properties are filled with high quality tenants as quickly as possible

• Market available properties for rent through online venues

• Write property descriptions

• Coordinate marketing photos

• Backup Receptionist to answer phones and schedule property showings

• Show properties as needed

• Assist with application processing as needed

• Help current tenants with questions and customer service

• Ability to work in a team and jump in to help when needed

• Assistance with property management processes and tenant retention

Results (Expected Accomplishments)

• Maintain a high level of customer service

• Understand all company policies and procedures

• Ensure properties are marketed 2 weeks prior to availability date

• Ensure marketing is accurate and implemented according to defined sales process

• Resolve basic questions, concerns and issues as thoroughly as possible before sending to the Property Manager

• Maintain awareness of property availability & leasing activity

• Present pricing, marketing, concessions suggestions to property manager based on prospect feedback

• Answer phones and general inquiries to backup receptionist

• Work with the Leasing Team to develop systems for greater efficiency

Requirements (Expected Proficiencies)

• Previous property management experience preferred, but will train a candidate with the right blend of skills and drive

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

• Ability to effectively communicate via phone, email, and in person

• Ability to learn new software and experience with Appfolio or other property management is a plus

• Understanding and execution of high level customer service

• High degree of initiative and self-motivation; strong problem solving skills

• Basic PC knowledge including Word and Excel

• Spanish speaking is preferred

This position is located at our company’s corporate office in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah at 1600 South State Street. Hours are from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday-Friday.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
