Job Description:

Were actively seeking a talented Internal Wholesaler to join our Consumer Markets Division. This role is on-site in our Omaha, Nebraska or Newport Beach, California office. The role can be hybrid (3 days working in the office, 2 days working at home).

  • Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates who would relocate to one of our offices for the role.
As an Internal Wholesaler (IW), youll play a key role in Pacific Lifes growth and long-term success by proactively marketing Pacific Life's retirement solutions products to existing and potential producers using consultative skills to meet sales goals, maintain and/or grow market share, and raise division assets. You'll develop and maintain ongoing business relationships with financial advisors within your assigned region to cross-sell multiple product lines and identify sales opportunities to help advisors identify ideal clients for our products.

How you will make an impact:
Work toward mastering every aspect of the IW Sales process to be a consultative business partner to our clients.

Have region ownership and accountability for success in your assigned region.

Have an impactful, repeatable pitch prepared for each product

Ability to create a daily plan and execute it accordingly

Have working knowledge of broker-dealers, key competitors and industry/capital markets

Proactively manage the Field Wholesaler calendar in conjunction with the Field Partner and scheduler

Identify your own personal/professional development goals and create a plan to work toward them.

Adhere to Pacific Life Code of Conduct, as well as industry and regulatory agency guidelines.

The skills you'll bring:
FINRA Series 6/7 and 63 License

3 or more years sales experience in a Financial Services environment

Bachelor's degree or equivalent Financial Industry experience

Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills

The base pay range is between $65,000- $70,000. In addition, this role is eligible for incentives based on production. The total target annualized compensation (base plus incentives) is $85,000-$91,000.

Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted provides a basis to determine the appropriate offer dependent upon several factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience, skills, education and pay equity. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
