Full description of the position

Job Type: Part-time. Long-term employment with advancement opportunities. Full-time possible.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour (plus Tips, Monthly Bonus & Commission pay)

4- to 8-hour shifts
Monday through Friday, Saturday, Sunday (Sat. & Sun. alternating). Some Night availability required for special events!

Qualifications and Skills:

• Stellar customer service with a bubbly personality is REQUIRED!
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions closely
• Friendly & supportive attitude with great work ethic. Team Player
• Must be able to stand, bend, move for long periods of time. Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Punctual, dependable transportation. Reliable attendance
• Ability to build rapport with customers. Strong negotiation skills
• Self-driven to achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales goals
• Be willing to study services & products to ensure a high level of education on the sales floor
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Certification Test Required
• *SOCIAL MEDIA, MODELING & MAKE-UP ARTISTRY skills are an ADDED BONUS!

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist guests when they come into the store
• Meet daily & monthly sales goals
• Keep updated with products & knowledge regarding the UV/Sunless industry to provide the best guest experience
• Sell memberships, lotions & clothing, while making sure that each guest receives the products and services that benefit their individual skin type & ideal results
• Complete inventory daily, log in product & clothing shipments that are received
• Merchandise clothing & skin care products to be appealing & eye catching
• Responsible for cleanliness of the salon while on shift
• Open & Close the salon
• Cash handling, credit card processing. Open/Close Register
• Always deliver the perfect guest experience for "Every Customer, Every Time"!!!

Experience:

• Previous experience in sales in the beauty and/or fashion fields (reuired)
• Tanning or spray tanning as a client or employee: 1 year (Preferred)
• Cashier and computer proficiency: 1 year (required)
• Familiar with setting & reaching personal sales goals: 1 year (Preferred)
