We’re an established insurance and financial services agency, combined with an up-and-coming small business management firm, looking for a hungry Business Operations Assistant who has that unique experience blend of marketing, sales, data entry, and bookkeeping.

If you’re just looking for a paycheck, then this is not the position for you.

You will be expected to go above and beyond just showing up, putting in your time, and going home. We will be building your future together and it’s going to take hard work, and yes, sometimes very long hours beyond the norm, but knowing that in the end it was all worth it when you own your own practice!

This is an excellent opportunity to get in on the ground floor of something very special, with the possibility of owning your own practice within the next 12-18 months should you desire.

DAILY DUTIES - Full Training Will Be Provided

Marketing Support

• Setting up and attending expos/trade shows with possible over-night stays (in-state only).
• Outbound marketing campaign production support.

Insurance Sales and Production Support

• New lead generation by prospecting and contacting potential clients.
• Attending weekly networking group meetings.
• Following up on prospective client mailings, via phone, email, or text.
• Calling and setting appointments for agents, or independent associates.
• Performing field work by measuring and taking pictures of homes & buildings that are being quoted.
• Performing new business quotes by entering information provided by agents, or independent associates.
• Responding to underwriter queries during the quoting process to help streamline turn-around times.
• Putting together final quote presentations for agents, or independent associates.
• Following up on quote presentations by phone, email, or text, when required to assist in closing deals.
• Processing new client paperwork.

Accounting Sales & Production Support

• New lead generation by prospecting and contacting potential clients.
• Performing new business quotes utilizing information provided by agents, or independent associates.
• Processing new client paperwork.
• Performing data entry for financial analysis, daily bookkeeping, and weekly management reports.
• Running client payrolls and submitting payroll taxes.
• Issuing end of year 1099’s/W2’s as required.
• Assisting in the preparation of year end taxes.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE & SKILL LEVELS

• Bookkeeping utilizing Quickbooks - No experience required - but if no experience, then you must take bookkeeping and accounting aptitude test to be considered
• Payroll Processing & Tax Payments
• Appointment Setting
• Telemarketing
• Canvassing
• Outside (or) Inside Sales

MUST HAVE’s

• Extroverted personality, and very comfortable in large crowds
• Extremely flexible schedule
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to walk up and down steep inclines when necessary
• Strong ability to work independently with little to no supervision

HOW YOU BENEFIT

• Base Pay + Production Pay + Bonuses: 1st Year potential - $52,000 or more
• Monthly Gas Allowance
