JOB SUMMARY
The Sales and Catering Coordinator communicates between the sales and food and beverage departments to ensure that all meetings and banquets are arranged to the specific requests of the client by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions

1. Coordinate the catering details for large events and provide a responsive and pleasant catering experience to clients.
2. Assist with typing of the banquet and sales correspondence, i.e., answering mail, confirming banquet arrangements, menus, BEO, FP, memos etc.
3. Organize social and corporate events.
4. Implementing the follow-up of all catering orders.
5. Ensure proper execution of catering orders.
6. May also undertake general administrative tasks as required.
7. Establish and improve the reputation of the hotel by offering a very personalized style of service as per the hotels standard operating procedures.
8. Compose, publish, and distribute Banquet event order (BEO) / Banquet Function Plan (FP) to all department heads and personnel who are involved in servicing banquet’s function.
9. Distribute promptly to all departments notice of any change in the Banquet event order (BEO) / Banquet Function Plan (FP).

Required Education and Experience

3. Prior catering and event planning experience.
