Job Description
The Change Management Specialist will play a key role in supporting Rockwell Automation’s Enterprise Transformation to becoming an outcome-based focused and data-driven organization by employing and executing Change Management strategies to enable the people side of change. As a key member of Rockwell Automation’s Enterprise Transformation Office (ExO), this includes driving changes to business processes, systems and technology, as well as organizational readiness.
The primary responsibility will be executing and enabling our Enterprise Change Management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage while also minimizing risk and resistance. The Change Management Specialist will work closely with the Change Management Leader to develop strategies that drive engagement and adoption, achieve greater proficiency of the changes that impact internal and external users to increase benefits realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of our Enterprise Transformation results and outcomes.
The Change Management Specialist will also work closely with Enterprise Transformation Teams to support and enable the integration of change management activities into project plans.
As the Change Management Specialist, you will:
- Support the Enterprise Transformation Office to develop and manage the Enterprise Transformation change management activities and tactics.
- Employ best practice change management and communication strategies.
- Responsible for execution of change management activities within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Collaborate with global, cross-functional team members to develop and build appropriate change management plans in support of the Enterprise Transformation Roadmap.
- Establish, capture, and report on metrics to monitor change progress.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Requires 5+ years of work experience in portfolio and/or program management, change management with digital/high technology companies/products.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and leadership skills.
- A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with Prosci ADKAR® Model is a plus.
- Experience in developing impactful content and communications for a variety of audiences.
- Prior experience with agile and other program & portfolio management methodologies.
- Experienced with leading change management at project and program levels.
- Self-motivated with flexibility to work in a fast-paced & fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations.
- Ability to succeed amidst ambiguity.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence and Atlassian suite a plus.
- Ability to work in global, cross-functional teams and effectively partner with colleagues in both business and technical roles.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload.
- Ability to handle the day-to-day management of tasks, prioritization and resolution of problems and issues and experience in implementing action plans to meet objectives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent conflict resolution and people interface skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and pivot with agility to drive outcomes.
