Job purpose:

To meet customer objectives when acquiring or servicing their motive power needs.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

To maintain and grow the customer base through effective prospecting and relationship building.

To generate objective based proposals for material handling power solutions.

To manage existing projects by effectively communicating to all involved parties.

To continue training and education of a broad product line of material handling equipment.

Person Profile:

A person in this position is a self-starter who requires little supervision after becoming fully trained.

Proficiency in reading, writing, verbal communication, and computer skills is critical for this position.

A general knowledge of Batteries, Facility electrical infrastructure, and being mechanically inclined is valuable for this position.

A person in this position should have problem solving, analytical, and social skills.

Attention to detail is imperative for long-term success.

Education Requirements:

A business degree or a degree in a related field, such as communications, marketing, project management, or advertising or 2 years of industrial sales experience preferred but is not necessarily required for this position.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires moving about in an office or warehouse setting and occasionally traversing stairs, and occasionally moving or transporting industrial equipment (up to 30 lbs.).

A personal automobile is required with ample expense reimbursement.

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
