Full description of the position

Learning & Development Supervisor

Job summary: The learning & development supervisor will work as part of the Priority1 Learning & Development team to develop and deliver learning content for Priority1’s inside sales channel.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with key stakeholders to implement effective learning programs for the inside sales channel within the Priority1 organization.
  • Utilize best practices and educational principles to design, develop, schedule, deliver, and monitor learning programs that reflect an understanding of diverse learners and meet the needs of the organization.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify key metrics, including formative and summative assessments, for learning effectiveness.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and document learning performance for large groups of learners using various methods.
  • Provide ongoing constructive feedback to learners.
  • Use Workday Learning and other forms of technology to implement learning and track learner performance.
  • Conduct face-to-face, blended, and hybrid instruction.
  • Conduct needs assessments and program evaluations as part of the development process.
  • Act as a resource to other team members through the peer review process, providing timely, constructive feedback as necessary.
  • Travel to other Priority1 locations to deliver learning programs as needed.
  • Seek opportunities for professional learning and growth.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year freight sales experience.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience developing and delivering learning content.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach, coach, mentor, and evaluate the performance of others.
  • Proven ability to provide constructive feedback to individuals and teams as a whole.
  • Detail-oriented, critical thinker with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a team environment and build relationships to accomplish team tasks.
  • Available to travel to other Priority1 locations to deliver learning programs.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $60,000 - $90,000 depending on experience, plus commission; unlimited growth potential
