Full description of the position

Job Description


A brilliant opportunity exists for an outstanding individual capable of fitting into this very rewarding Account Manager role. Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is looking to hire someone who can bring added value to the team. If you’re dedicated, energetic and detail-oriented, this could be the perfect role for you. Responsibilities include:


1) Oversee customer communications

2) Build strong relationships with customers

3) Maintain a detailed understanding of all customers' needs to effectively investigate, track and resolve customer concerns

4) Manage customer accounts from receipt of order through invoice process

5) Ensure that customer issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the Management Team of any problems that may arise

6) Ensure that all processes and procedures are completed and quality standards are met

7) Communicate the customer's goals and represents the customer's interests to the Team

8) Provide regular communication between the customer and team, to set proper customer expectations

9) Maintain an understanding of the company's capabilities and services

10) Report directly to the VP of Corporate Development and provide regular input on all account activity

11) Assist the Project Manager with new product development

12) Communicate accurate order and billing status at weekly sales meetings

13) Use of ERP system to perform job-related functions

14) Follow up on e-mail and other communication promptly

15) Perform other duties as assigned


Critical Requirements


1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales management
