Logistics Account Manager
As a Logistics Account Manager at Hometown Logistics, you will focus on building a portfolio of clients which require freight brokerage services. Our hands-on sales training will help you learn the skills you need to excel at Hometown Logistics and beyond. Logistics is a rapidly growing industry with endless opportunities. We’ll teach you everything you need to prospect for new clients and close new accounts over the phone. Job Requirements/Daily Responsibilities:
· Confident decision-making skills
· Develop ongoing relationships with customers/carriers over the phone
· Perform a variety of tasks working with customers and carriers
· Sales, pricing, negotiating service requirements, and closing new business
· Multi-tasking ability
· Great communication skills
· Great attention to detail
· Bring a great attitude and high work ethic each day
· Knowledge of CRM platforms preferred
· Microsoft office skills preferred
Job Type: Full-time
· Pay Type: Annual Salary + Commission
· Most team members are making $65,000+ by the end of their first year and $100,000+ by the end of their second year
· Experience/Education: We evaluate each individual and value team members from all backgrounds
