Marketing and Business Development Specialist – Accounting Software


Location: anywhere


Looking for somewhere to make an immediate impact with your marketing skillset? We are looking for someone who is detailed oriented, works well independently and in team settings, and enjoys executing marketing plans, preferably with a background in accounting software.

Reporting to a Marketing and Business Development Manager for Technology, you will work closely to execute marketing content and collateral focused on the accounting software service line for the firm, specifically Sage Intacct.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns for accounting software in line with strategic goals including e-newsletters, webinars, blog posts, press releases, and more
  • Create other lead-generation content such as case studies, e-books, and surveys
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage marketing assets, design, execution, and analysis along with sales pipelines
  • Coordinate various aspects of events such as tradeshows and client appreciation events
  • Assist with reporting for various business development efforts and partner funds
  • Perform market research and special projects as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • One to three years of experience in marketing/digital marketing with proven abilities to strategize, plan, execute, and measure demand generation efforts
  • Proficient in working with email marketing platforms, CRM systems, WordPress, Google Analytics/SEO, and other communication tools
  • Strong organizational and communication skills along with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while collaborating with team members onsite and remotely
  • Must be a self-motivated individual comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with limited oversight on multiple projects at once
  • Understanding of B2B marketing, demand/lead generation, and marketing strategies
  • Knowledge and skill in sharing perspectives to educate and align audiences
  • Experience or working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) or other design tools a plus
