We’re currently looking for an Account Executive, Securities who will maintain our high standards of service for clients and understand what their needs are before they know it themselves. Account Executives support the sales team in the sale and retention of designated Employee Benefits accounts as well as coordinating client activity with sales and support teams.
What’s the work like?
You will...
- Work with Sales Executive on new business opportunities, client review meetings, and any follow up activities to meet and exceed client expectations.
- Participate in community and business functions/groups to ensure a positive image for our agency within the region’s marketplace.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to all aspects of the position and keep informed of new legal, regulatory, and tax developments.
- Fully understand the securities market to anticipate areas of appropriate growth and expansion of our services. Attend third party summits, in house vendor information meetings, subscribe and read industry articles and periodicals and provide product comparison information to our leadership team to ensure a competitive advantage.
- Assist Sales Executives in preparation of client facing materials, quarterly plan reviews, and presentations and attend client meetings as appropriate.
- Review applications and policies for accuracy and completeness and take an active role in completing all carrier and broker dealer requirements to implement policy.
- Perform administrative duties of assigned accounts including completion of account reviews, reviewing client correspondence and processing requests for information, preparing and saving documents.
- Maintain the electronic account file and fully incorporate the capabilities of the agency management system and broker dealer system into daily workflow.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained in the collection, maintenance, and dissemination of highly sensitive information, including Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Attend required sales meetings
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance
- Any other special projects and duties as assigned

What do I need to know?
You have to have…
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Resident Life, Sickness, Accident & Health Agent's license
- Series 6 or 7, 63 and 66 equivalent (or willingness to pursue)
- Ability to run an effective meeting, using listening, reasoning and articulate communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and presentation skills necessary for both oral and written proposals
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point), and electronic mail system (Outlook)
- Proficiency in office equipment such as computer, calculator, copier, phone and fax machine
- Strong respect for confidentiality
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Ability to observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly
- Ability to conform with and abide by all workplace policies, work procedures, and instructions
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels within the organization, as well as clients, prospects, and vendors
- Minimum of three (3) years in securities backed product experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance or related field preferred
- Experience in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Power Point) and electronic mail system (Outlook)
