Full description of the position

Nemours is seeking Business Planner (Strategy and Business Development) (Full-Time), to join our team in Orlando, Florida.

Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Planning, this position supports the business planning process for new business development opportunities in Florida. This position will provide market & analytical support to include conducting and managing market and service line assessments, competitive assessments, volume projections, utilization of publicly available data sets, and tracking of regional and national trends. Other key responsibilities involve providing department and executive level leadership with business intelligence to support strategic, operational, and budgetary decision making. The Business Planner informs strategy by using data and research-driven methodologies. This position supports projects as assigned by the FL Strategy and Business Development and Florida leaders.
  • Develops executive level presentations, reports and briefings in support of strategy.
  • Develops business plans for clinical services and initiative specific activities.
  • Develop feasibility studies and business models to support new business initiatives and strategy exploration.
  • Develop objectives with department leaders for strategic, business, and operational planning activities.
  • Stay abreast of major trends in the healthcare industry and in the disciplines of strategic and business planning to effectively adopt leading business practices that promote high performing departments.
  • Participate in internal organizational strategic planning and strategy management meetings.
  • Assist clinical departments with demand modeling, capacity assessments, and forecasting for annual budgeting process and operations strategy.
  • Communicate with all levels of staff.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • MHA or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience required.
  • Finance or strategy experience preferred.
