Full Job Description

  • POSITION TITLE: Floor Coating Residential & Commercial Sales Rep.
  • REPORTS TO: Owner
  • SUPERVISES: None
  • Part-Time and Full-Time Available

Hex Coatings LLC provides residential and commercial epoxy/polyaspartic coating services to direct consumers and companies. We emphasize sustainable installation products and donate from company profits to benefit nature conservation, specifically honeybees.

Job Description:

The Floor Coating Residential & Commercial Sales Rep. is a sales role responsible for providing high quality client interactions and overview of our products to prospective clients in a professional and timely manner in addition to driving profitable business growth. This is a commission based position with significant up-side for a good salesperson.

The successful candidate must have a strong sales aptitude, great attitude, passion for winning, and ability for doing great work. The candidate must be able to work effectively with the core Hex Coatings LLC team.

The Floor Coating Residential & Commercial Sales Rep. responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Engage and collaborate with Hex Coatings team members in support of new pursuits and ongoing delivery of our products and services.
  • Collaborate with leadership and consistently look to improve quality and profitability through sales interactions.
  • Answer client calls with appropriate greeting while setting up appointments for onsite consults.
  • Consult directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships.
  • Maintain a 50% close ratio on all flooring estimates.
  • Become a subject matter expert for Hex Coatings solutions and accurately respond to client inquiries.
  • Update customer interaction within our CRM systems.

Sales and Revenue Generation

  • Drive profitable business growth and customer relationship management.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business and expansion opportunities for prospective and existing clients.
  • Sell Hex Coatings flooring products and offerings while meeting sales targets and maintaining a 50% conversion rate of estimate to sales.
  • Perform follow-up activities for sales prospects

Work hours will vary based on appointment schedule and would typically be between 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Saturday and/or Sunday work may periodically be required. Must use your own vehicle with Hex Coatings logo magnet decals, proven success could reward you with a company vehicle

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability and confidence to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Demonstrate strong people skills and maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to respond and adjust to a changing regulatory and workplace environment.
  • Highly motivated, team oriented, professional, and trustworthy, with strong skills in personal diplomacy.
  • Commitment to professional growth and understanding of the changing environment through current events reading, continuing education, self-study, cross-functional training, and work assignment variation.
  • Networking with realtors, mortgage brokers, home builders, insurance companies, HOA’s, etc.
  • Stay safe and alert manager immediately of potential safety hazards.

Compensation

  • 5% to 8% commission varies by final Bid price per square foot (SF)
  • Commission potential of $45,000 to $80,000+ annually

Car/Gas/Phone Allowance:

  • $500 per month.
