What you’ll be doing…

The Sales Strategy Senior Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the growth of Tableau. The Sales Strategy Senior Analyst will work closely with Sales Leadership and a number of cross-functional teams to ensure the go-to-market strategy aligns with other internal groups, and sets the Sales team up for success. Responsibilities range from territory analysis and delivering insights on overall performance, to designing and deploying strategic initiatives during the annual planning cycle.

This position requires problem solving, attention to detail, superb project management skills, ability to influence stakeholders, competence to work with senior executives, and excellent communication skills. You must possess a positive attitude, the ability to switch priorities and maintain grace under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities …

  • Build repeatable processes and reporting packages to empower both sales leaders and reps with critical operational data related to sales strategy and execution.

  • Develop and maintain standardized operational reports and dashboards to monitor overall region/territory health, data integrity, and other key objectives and performance indicators.

  • Partner with sales management to drive sales reporting and forecasted processes for sales theaters.

  • Understand the underlying data architecture supporting our business units and how to use it to report on business performance.

  • Collect, analyze, evaluate, and report data to track sales performance and metrics.

  • Work closely with Sales Strategy and Salesforce Strategy counterparts to enable execution of annual growth planning initiatives.

  • Support day-to-day inquiries from the sales team, providing prompt and efficient resolution to a wide range of issues and developing operational procedures and policies to manage volume.

  • Collaborate with the Business Systems team to improve or define processes that promote data integrity and reporting functionality.


Who you are…

Experienced. 4+ years of experience as a data analyst in sales operations, business operations, management consulting, finance, or product management

Technical. Prior experience and strong competency in Business Intelligence software (preferably Tableau) and proficient with SQL

Analytical. Able to create scalable and repeatable analytics, and able to perform complex analysis including regression, forecasting, and probability modeling

Curious. Self-directed work style; thrives at being resourceful and has a strong work ethic

Organized. Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment

Communicator. Strong communicator both verbally and written. Able to communicate at all levels

Team Player. Able to manage multiple priorities and build excellent rapport with internal teams

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $109,400 to $165,500.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
