Sales Associate - Earthwise Pet Supply and Grooming
Consult with customers and sell pet supply merchandise, such as healthy pet food, treats, toys, or accessories and grooming services in a pet retail establishment with the highest level of caring customer service.

Tasks

· Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs

· Open and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, coupons, and vouchers, balancing cash drawers, and making deposits.

· Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.

· Insure customer returns are returned to distributor and credited

· Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise. Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers

· Continue learning about new foods and other items

· Ticket, arrange, dust and display merchandise to promote sales

· Exchange merchandise for customers and accept returns

· Bag or package purchases and help carry packages to customer’s car

· Help customers try on or fit pet accessory merchandise such as dog harneses

· Clean self-wash and show customers how to use

· Take trash and recycling cardboard out daily.

· Answer phone and make grooming appointments.

Additional Requirements

· Must be able to lift items up to 50lbs
· Proficient on the computer and POS
· Previous retail experience a plus but not required
· Must be organized and comfortable multitasking in a fast paced environment.
· Must be flexible, hardworking, able to work, play well with others and eager to learn

· Must be comfortable around dogs and cats

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
