Now Hiring - City Cast - Senior Account Executive, Denver in Denver, CO

City Cast, the network of daily local podcasts and newsletters, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join the new revenue team at a fast-growing media company. The Senior Account Executive will develop and cultivate leads and relationships across the entire Denver Metro Area, establishing City Cast's podcasts and newsletters as an essential buy for clients. The ideal candidate has a proven record of sales success, experience in podcast/audio, and the motivation to exceed revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

• Persuasively articulate City Cast's media offerings and competitive advantages to clients and prospects across the Denver Metro Area via in-person and Zoom sales calls.
• Establish a network of C-Suite, senior-level media and client relationships in the market.
• Craft digital and audio programs that suit the marketing needs of the client.
• Maintain effective revenue-generating relationships with clients and media agencies and will provide the highest level of sales and marketing consulting services.
• Meet monthly revenue goals as outlined in the sales plan.
• Maintain the CRM database.
• Collaborate with City Cast colleagues in other departments and cities.

Qualifications:

• A proven track record of sales success with a high close ratio in performance-driven culture.
• Podcast/Audio experience is a plus.
• Outstanding negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A motivated team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations.
• Ability to hit the ground running with a strong book of running business and relationships.
• Being a genuinely nice person who is fun to work with.

Required:

• A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years sales experience.
• You must reside in Colorado.

The Senior Account Executive will report to the CRO of City Cast. This position is full-time, with excellent benefits. The base salary is competitive, depending on experience, with a generous commission structure. The commission structure will be in addition to the base annual salary of $80,000 - $110,000. You must be local to the Denver Metro Area, though work will be primarily remote.
