Personal Lines Account Manager

Thiel Insurance Group, LLC is expanding! If you enjoy working in the insurance industry, we invite you to join our award-winning and dynamic team. We are looking to add a personal lines account manager to our Appleton office. We are searching for career-minded individuals with a positive attitude, with a strong attention to detail and that can multi-task and pivot in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Duties:

*Provide superior customer service to clients in the form of quick response time to their questions/needs.

*Handle incoming client phone calls and in-person service requests by engaging with the prospective clients,.

*Process new policies and endorsements in a timely manner.

*Meet with prospective clients to obtain pertinent information to quote their insurance needs

*Be familiar with all relevant carriers, their products and underwriting requirements to provide multiple options to prospective clients.

*Work proficiently in agency management system and rating system

*Communicate effectively with company representatives including underwriters &claims rep as well as internal staff and partners.

*Provide support to other agents while working as a team

Qualifications:

*High School Diploma or equivalent. Prefer some college or certificate but will consider work experience

*1-2 years’ Experience in the insurance industry preferred

*Wisconsin Property and Casualty License or ability to obtain in 120 days

*Must be able to pass a background check

*Proficient in Microsoft office and windows-based products

*Self-motivated with the ability to work well in a team environment and independently

*Positive attitude with superior customer service and interpersonal skills
