Your Opportunity
As the Sale Operations Director at Solutions By Text, you will manage the overall strategy for Salesforce use by the CRO and CMO teams. You will partner with others on the CRO team as well as the users across the organization. You will work closely with our Salesforce administration and technology team responsible for the development and maintenance of all functions of Salesforce and integrated solutions.
This is a key role, which will lay the foundation for SBT’s Pay by Text market business for years to come. As a successful candidate, you will have experience in establishing and driving software/technology/ISV projects and people related to strategic revenue growth. This is an operational process management role, reporting to the Senior Sales Director. You will also work closely with SBT’s sales, product, finance, marketing, operations, and support teams in USA and India.
This role is visionary in nature, which requires deep knowledge and experience in building and growing technology, software, and ISV relationships, driving joint sales and marketing success and negotiating key commercial agreements. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and entrepreneurship is necessary. An understanding of the economics of the payments space and the bill payments ecosystem would be a bonus. Responsibilities
- Serve as key support for Sales Leaders from forecasting and operational perspective
- Collaborate with members of management to define, document, and implement new processes
- Create reports and dashboards in Salesforce
- Assist in monitoring data quality, integrity, and hygiene
- Analyze data to identify best practices
- Works closely with the Executive leadership and deliver business recommendations based on analytics
- Support forecasting & pipeline management
- Assist sales personnel with pricing and quote generation
- Interface between sales and finance to ensure that the SFDC data is available to support commission calculation and payment
- Work closely with sales, client success and channel partner leaders, marketing, support, and product organizations to rally around new partnership opportunities and existing partner growth
- Collaborate closely with sales leadership to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement leading by example of select partnerships.
- Work with engineering and product to develop roadmaps for Salesforce with key technology players internally and third-party partners
- Work across teams at SBT’s to develop strategic and technology value propositions and realizations, including SDR sales playbooks and revenue tracking
- Report out on a regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence to all key stakeholders, with a strong analytical approach and crisp communication style
- Manage sales force automation including assessment, implementation, and integration of third-party vendor tools as required
- Oversee a reboot or replacement of the SFDC Organization instance
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of relevant work experience
- Master’s degree a plus
- 5+ years of managerial experience
- Experience managing employees and contractors in other geographies (India a plus)
- Previous experience working within a SaaS Technology provider
- Extensive experience working with SFDC
- Analytical, able to interpret data and present trends/observations
- Ability to work under pressure and fast-paced working environment
- Ability to work proactively and independently to interact with stakeholders, understand needs, and present findings, and documents with clarity verbally and written
- Experience documenting specifications, such as source to target mappings, and business rule and data validation requirements
- Self-driven team player with ability to learn quickly, and apply new tools and techniques
- Strong computer knowledge and skill of Microsoft 365 apps: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Power BI…Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with both internal stakeholders
