Orgill is seeking a sales driven Business Development Manager for our proprietary brands of products. Responsibilities include identifying key accounts in the region, current and new, to increase sales of stocked warehouse programs and direct shipment opportunities from our Asia suppliers. Customer focus will center in the LATAM markets. Working with Territory Managers and sourcing team, the WWD BDM will be responsible for sales growth and profit. Extensive travel required. This position will work in our Miami office.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Prepare virtual and in-person presentations and present to key decision makers of major LATAM retailers.
- Visit key current and new accounts
- Review competitive assortments to identify conversion opportunities.
- Align with company goals to increase market share and profitability of programs.
- Identify items and categories for potential direct sourcing to LATAM customers.
- Coordinate with in-country Territory Managers to serve as a liaison to obtain key data from the market, as well as to coordinate with them when in need of samples for our office in Asia.
- College degree required.
- Sales experience within the Hardware/Home Improvement Industry.
- International travel required.
- Working knowledge of international sales/logistics activities.
- Computer skills with working knowledge of Google business apps, Excel, and PowerPoint.
