Qualifications

· High School Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Professional communication, organization and writing skills

· Experience in Quoting and Marketing New and Existing accounts is preferred.

· Proficient in completing applications, determining proper coverage and carrier placement is preferred.

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

· 2-4 years Commercial Lines Account Management experience preferred

· Solid background in using Applied Epic (Preferred), Excel and Microsoft Word

· Property and Casualty License Preferred; not required but must be willing to obtain

Responsibilities

· The Account Executive will provide a high level of sales support to the Producer and customer service to clients

· The position requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion to meet those service levels

· The Account Executive will assist in the production of new and renewal accounts in keeping with Agency and individual Producer goals and provide field service in support of Producer activities

· The Account Executive is responsible for assisting clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts

· Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office

· Responds to client request for policy changes, billing inquiries and verification of coverage

· Ensures that these items are given to client in a timely manner

· Maintains follow-up and suspense file on outstanding orders, correspondence, claims, renewal expirations and follows up on overdue and suspense items

· Checks new and renewal policies and endorsements for accuracy in coverage

· Determines reasons for request for cancellations and acts to retain accounts

· If unable, secures Lost Policy Release and follows through to policy cancellation

· Participates in continuing professional development as required by state licensing requirements and Agency guidelines

· Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
