Underdog Media has a full-time opportunity for the right candidate to join our Business Development team. Business development managers at Underdog Media do much more than just sales. We prospect leads, build relationships, engineer/develop solutions and negotiate deals to publishers all over the globe. To be successful youre able to relate and understand the specific needs from each publisher, adapt and act accordingly.

This role requires a very motivated individual who loves the thrill of a closed deal but can also multitask between recruiting new publishers, while working with our operations team supporting the technical onboarding stage and optimizing new accounts in the most critical phase.

Qualifications:

• Network/rolodex of digital publishers
• Minimum 1 year of experience selling to digital publishers
• Experience prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals
• Excellent communications skills
• Attention to detail, analytical and excel skills
• Self-motivated, driven and persistent
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PPT, [please apply online] Google Suite
• Knowledge in HTML, and WordPress

Duties:

• Proactively identify publishing opportunities
• Develop lists of fully qualified biz dev leads using 3rd party software and proprietary technology available as well as your own ingenuity
• Develop publisher-focused messaging and multi-touch email marketing campaigns with biz dev and marketing teams
• Establish, cultivate, and leverage relationships with publishers to drive revenue
• Work closely with the Business Development team to create, monitor, and refine outbound marketing campaigns and demand generation
