Heady is a digital product consultancy that provides full-service strategy, design, full-stack development, and growth marketing services. We partner with forward-looking brands to accelerate their digital transformation, and we’re looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our team.
About the role:
In this role, you’ll own the maintenance and growth of all our existing client accounts. On a daily basis, you'll connect with Heady product managers and client stakeholders across our projects, drive SOW creation, coordinate kick-offs, and collaborate closely with product management, strategy, and business development teams.
We’re looking for someone who can carefully balance clients’ needs, wants, and priorities with Heady’s capabilities and available resources - all while putting collaboration and teamwork at the forefront. This role is based in Brooklyn, NY, and will require 2 days (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) in our beautiful, Dumbo office! Travel may be required across the US.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Heady’s approach to account management, document processes, and educate internal and external stakeholders
- Be a visible member of project teams in order to establish close client relationships in collaboration with Heady product managers
- Manage expectations around deliverables and ensure clients have a sufficient understanding of project goals, progress, and limitations
- Work closely with product managers and department heads to ensure a positive working relationship and project outcomes
- Proactively look for opportunities to introduce Heady capabilities and offerings when it makes sense to do so across strategy, engineering, design, and partnerships
- Proactively, frequently, and tactfully communicate with clients, ensuring they are updated on any SOW-related matters
- Perform strategic account planning via quarterly business reviews to uncover client needs while maximizing upsell opportunities for Heady
- Own proposal, SOW, and change order creation for existing business — defining and coordinating requirements/cost calculator, presenting, and following up with clients until contracts are signed
- Periodically report the status of each client relationship to Heady senior management team based on predetermined criteria
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of account management at an agency, ideally tech/digital agency
- Experience managing multiple client accounts for mobile, web design, and development projects
- Proven track record in account growth, including responding to RFPs and pitching
- Experience in creating MSAs, SOWs, and change orders for technology services and deliverables
- Comfortable interacting with clients of all levels and industry backgrounds from c-suite to admin support staff
- Intuitively knows how to best handle the relationship between Heady and client
- Ability to finesse delicate client relationships and not shy away from difficult conversations
- Ability to anticipate client needs, track client relations, and escalate issues in an efficient and professional manner
- Proactive communicator who understands the importance of getting ahead of the task or problem at hand
Nice to haves:
- Prior experience with account or product management, focusing on mobile app projects
- Developer background

Salary Range: 150-200k annually.
