Account Manager – Sales/Marketing/Research

BISS Product Development is a small and creative product development company located in the beautiful Lake Norman area, just 35 miles north of Charlotte, NC. We prosper on designing innovative products for our two brands, Risk Racing and STKR Concepts.

We are currently seeking a professional and motivated person to join our team as an Account Manager for our STKR Concepts brand. The qualified applicant must be reliable and trustworthy. They must also possess a positive spirit, a strong work ethic, and the desire to help our company grow.

As a small company, we are looking for a team player who can “wear a lot of hats” and multitask. We want an individual who is extremely organized with a tenacious attention to detail, who at the same time is a social butterfly, not afraid to network and communicate with our customer base. Must be out-going and personable, but also comfortable working with spreadsheets and navigating our customers online portals.

EXAMPLE OF GENERAL TASKS:

• Research, and identify new sales opportunities in a variety of different markets

• Diligently build, maintain, and monitor customer databases

• Manage 3rd party online sales accounts, such as Amazon, [please apply online] [please apply online] setup and maintenance through 3rdparty, online portals and dashboards.

• Work with team to creative and implement strategies that will grow our brand recognition, sales and distribution through P.R., newsletters, grassroots advertising, promotional programs, etc.

• Manage social media and effectively communicate the brands message to our customer base and followers through creative posts, promotions, updates, etc.

• Be accountable and extremely organized with all customer accounts.

• Be able to effectively communicate your progress to your manager

THE PROPER CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

• Ability to multi-task

• Outstanding oral and written communication skills

• Strong organization and time management skills

• Strong research skills

• Strong computer skills: Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office, etc.

• Critical thinking and analysis

• Must be a highly motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, as well as a positive and winning attitude.

• Must be a team player and have the ability to be flexible. Must be willing to pitch in where needed and assist all members of this small team.

EXPERIENCE:

• 1-5 years in a similar field.

• Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

• This is an In-house position based in the Troutman, NC area, which is located just 35 miles north of Charlotte, NC in the beautiful Lake Norman area.

• Salary: $30,000-$40,000/year depending on experience.
