Job Description: An ideal candidate will be a Master of Communication, able to interact effectively with prospective clients to uncover their needs and identify solutions for those needs, despite potential objections. Success in this role will come from the ability to find and convert new business prospects into clients, the ability to work with an existing book of business to uncover additional growth opportunities, and the patience and discipline to follow up on prospective clients for long-term results. Our agency is extremely community-oriented, and all team members must be able to showcase the agency image and values across all events, presentations, and digital footprint. The ability to obtain Wisconsin property, casualty, and life insurance licenses are essential for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively present and explain insurance offerings in accordance with agency image and values
• Meet with prospective clients
• Prospect new business sales via phone calls, face-to-face meetings, and digital marketing to drive agency growth
• Cross-sell existing book of business for additional opportunities
• Attend networking meeting and events to drive referral sales
• Develop centers of influences for future referrals
• Represent agency at community events for brand awareness and potential leads
• Utilize warm market and internet leads to help drive agency growth
• Perform account management duties for existing agency clients when necessary

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to earn your Wisconsin property, casualty, and life insurance licenses
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to meet state continuing education requirements for insurance
• High school degree or equivalent
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to work effectively with a team
• Exceptional communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Exceptional time-management skills to meet/achieve sales goals and deadlines
• Ability to determine client needs and determine the appropriate solution
• Reliable transportation to meet with prospective clients and attend events
• Ability to work during agency office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm)
• Ability to adjust schedule to meet client needs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
