Full description of the position

We are a senior living community seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional Sales and Marketing Manager/Director. We provide exceptional quality, comfort, and care to residents who are looking for a place to call home. The ideal applicant will have experience working with multiple teams to ensure sales goals for the business are met. A successful candidate will also have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain relationships with internal and external connections. Prior knowledge or experience in retirement communities a plus.

The Sales and Marketing Manager/Director will be responsible for generating and managing leads to qualify prospects and guide them through the transition of moving into their new home. You will work closely with the General Manager and Directors to create a cutting-edge and strategic marketing plan. Your goal is to achieve your budgeted occupancy targets. This person will create trust and connect with prospective residents and their families through phone calls and tours of the community. Ideate ways to increase occupancy and achieve targeted occupancy goals

What is needed to be successful in this role?

  • 2-3 or more years of marketing experience or a sales background
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organization and diligence in following up with prospects.
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Comfortable developing new relationships through face-to-face contact.
  • Ability to take direction, meet timelines and work on a multitude of projects at one time
  • Adaptable to fast paced work environment with repetitive and monotonous projects.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed
  • Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests
