Full description of the position

Purpose of Position:

This position will be responsible for assisting the Product Management and Sales Department. In this role, will also support the Product Coordination team, and will function as a liaison between the corporate office and internal/external vendors and services providers.

Accountabilities:

• Assist Product management team on
• Manifest allocation setup on East and West warehouses.
• West coast inventory daily inventory, manifest uploading, order shipping, inventory adjustments.
• Updating vessel and manifest and tracking file for Peru and Chile import season.
• Assist on uploading of contracts for approval.
• Responsible for running and providing daily reports – USDA Market reports on grape commodity, sales Summaries, inventory reports for East and West warehouses during direct import program.
• Run reports in Produce Pro, Power BI, Discoverer and Pentaho)
• Process invoice/payments for year-round Fruit purchases made by grape team.
• Process payments for Operational services Agreements on the West coast.
• Responsible for maintaining and updating Grape purchase and Operational invoices tracker.
• Assist sales team and work with the accounting department on rebates, payment research, credits, customer maintenance, etc.
• Assist on generating Materials requisitions, materials inventory coordination and reconciliation during Mexico and Domestic grapes season.
• Assist on communication of claims to grower/shipper/ vendor when quality issues arise during import and purchases.
• Prepare weekly sales and inventory reports for DM South America offices during our import program.
• Responsible for generating USDA Market reports with season long benchmarking data.
• Responsible for assisting Sales team to generate Del Monte grapes historical sales and
• Special projects, reports, assignments and other admin duties as required.

Minimum Skills Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 to 3 years prior experience in a similar role (e.g. customer service, project coordination, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Product knowledge and understanding of the fresh produce industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical and communication skills (i.e. oral and written).
• Must be detail-oriented, and able to multi-task on a fast-paced environment.
• Previous customer service experience (i.e. answer calls, data entry, etc.).
• Able to work well under minimal supervision

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field from an accredited institution.
