Position Overview
The position serves as the internal business partner and primary point of contact for the field sales team and, when needed, the external customer. A Sales Support Specialist delivers value throughout the presale-to-order journey by ensuring that all aspects are handled in an accurate and expeditious manner while delivering an elite customer experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regional Diagnostic sales teams to facilitate matters related to back-office needs and issues, such as deal evaluator tools, Salesforce.com quoting, customer agreements, product pricing, sales order lookup, and more.
- Act as the facilitator for Salesforce.com Diagnostic Account Executive quoting by translating sales requests and revisions into Salesforce.com and collaborating with Commercial Contracts to generate a customer-facing agreement.
- Collaborate with Commercial Contracts and take initiative to understand contractual implications when quoting.
- Take ownership and ensure a timely resolution of escalated issues that arise on behalf of the sales rep and their customer.
- Collaborate and build strong relationships with internal teams to support the needs of the sales team and their customers.
- Participate and engage in product training opportunities and product launches to ensure knowledge is up to date for best supporting our internal and external customers.
Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of Oracle is preferred
- Salesforce.com and CPQ experience desired
- High energy, self-motived, proactive, goal-oriented and enthusiastic
Education
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience supporting a sales organization or customer service

The annualized base salary range for this role is $44,100 to 66,200 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
