Position Title: Marketing Consultant

Minimum 1-3 Years Experience

Status: Full-time, non-exempt

Salary: Commission Based, as follows:

· Base pay compensation for the first twelve months at a weekly rate of $270 (gross).

· In addition, employee will be paid commissions on top of based pay, 5%-18% commissions depending on what marketing product is sold.

· Position will inherit an established agency list that provided approximately $35,000 in commissions last year.

· Budgeted Compensation Range: $40,000-$65,000/annual.

· Uncapped commission potential.

· After one year position switches to draw plus commission- same commission rate as above.

Our Marketing Consultants harness the power of our television, streaming and digital marketing platforms to grow local businesses. This position comes with an established client list at the market leader in town. They will maintain a relationship with those current advertising clients along with developing new clients. Strong communication skills along with proficient presentation skills are essential in this position.

Duties Include:

· Servicing existing advertising accounts at the station, also developing new local advertising accounts.

· Presentations to local business about the benefit of advertising on the station and digital properties.

· Coordinate with production crew on creating spots, assist with production, as necessary.

· Ensuring accounts are current in payment.

· Networking through community and publicity events.
