POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the strategy and execution of experience generation activation and marketing programs that increase demand (occupancy and rate). This position will work closely with cross-functional teams, they will design, plan, manage and optimize local and resort experiences that can be marketed to the urban / drive to markets. Effectively showcase our Texas Portfolio to align and connect with the needs and desires of Regional Association’s and Club’s. They will monitor, track, and report out on Marketing Experience Generation across relevant KPI’s. Demonstrate a commitment to excellence with servant leadership and integrity to live the Brand and Experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Develop roadmap (ex. Silver Leaf) and impactful programs that will design and activate the deployment strategy for these defined experiences.
- Lead Resort Team Workshops to develop a theme / vacation architecture for each assigned resort. Assist resorts in creating plan and action items. Measure and follow up on implementation.
- Lead marketing efforts for each specific resort and market.
- Educate and market on the Theme / Vacation Experience (ex. “The Texas Experience”) to Association and Leisure groups to provide an alternate experience.
- Partner with Resort Operations team to ensure projects, timelines, and commitments are followed.
- Establish and solidify relationships within the local business community, Chamber, and government groups.
- Work closely with Inventory and property leadership to create programs to assist filling need periods and target new groups to visit and experience our resorts.
- Create, execute, monitor, and control goals and dashboards to measure success.
- Work closely with the Brand team to coordinate Marketing opportunities with events, partnerships, and programs.
- Understand the HICV Brand, products, and customers to ensure the marketing content meets the marketing strategy and reflects the brand.

Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans, while understanding the consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting improvements to achieve sales and marketing goals.
Maintain regular communication and collaboration with key stakeholders in the Brand and Marketing teams to be able to build short- and long-term roadmaps and timelines.
Effectively communicate with various departments throughout each property to ensure the overall profitability and success of the Resort.
Establish a positive relationship and mentorship with Property and Activities leadership to increase motivation, experiences, and future growth.
Participate in Regional Sales events to further build relationships with current and future clients.
Create, present, negotiate, and execute group and sponsorship/partnership contracts.
Create and coordinate on-site and off-site promotional events to help better guest experience using interactive activities.
Build and establish customers through client events/entertainment, quarterly travel, and property showcases.
Execute various and creative social media & e-blast Marketing promotions.
Able to maintain and uphold the brand standards, design, and processes.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- 3+ years of leadership and management experience
- 3+ years coordinating large initiatives with successful outcomes
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required
- College degree, preferred
- 3+ years’ vacation ownership operations experience or hospitality, required
- Public Relations experience, preferred
- Sales & Marketing experience, preferred
WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS
Schedules will vary depending on business needs, and may entail working nights, weekends and holidays. Must be flexible to work outside of departmental operating hours. MUST be available to travel up to 50%
