1.0 SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE
As a Regional Salesperson for Bosque Disposal Systems, LLC you will execute sales strategy for our Pumping Division to current and future customers in the pumping as well as chemical market. This position provides input and participates in the marketing, market planning and technical development of products and services. In addition to a creative mind and out-of-the-box thinking, we need the dedication that comes with the passion for sales.
2.0 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support market strategies & goals within your assigned region
- Direct identification & closure of Pumping Services sales opportunities
- Establish relationships with current and prospective customers in order to understand the potential for business and what it takes to secure their business.
- Manage assigned accounts in a manner that insures continued business and growth within the account
- Research and maintain a list of potential customers
- Leverage market research to determine customer needs & provide information to other staff.
- Think outside the box.
- Evaluate product & service marketability in terms of customers' technical needs.
- Follow up on sales leads and maintain current customer satisfaction.
- Keep current with industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets.
- Establish & maintain industry contacts that lead to sales.
- Promote business through use of traditional and non-traditional marketing tools that encourage contact and interaction with existing customers and develop relationships with potential customers.
3.0 SCOPE AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
To be successful the sales team must secure business with new customers, maintain and grow assigned accounts, communicate effectively with the Operations team insuring customer expectations are managed appropriately in order to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, and represent Bosque Systems in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
4.0 REQUIRED COMPETENCIES/PREREQUISITES
- 2-5 years sales experience in the Oil & Gas industry or other applicable industries.
- Possess a distinguished and sustained sales achievement record
- Ability to sell and provide solutions for customers and potential customers
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Excellent communications skills and ability to maintain highest professionalism.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers
- Demonstrated understanding of sales process and ability to close business
- Good knowledge of commercial and contract language
- Technical aptitude
- MUST be a self-starter and have the ability to coach others.
- Ability to travel to and navigate fracing locations. (25% - 50%)
- Must comply with all customer required trainings
5.0 PREFERRED COMPETENCIES
- A Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent experience
6.0 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Office environment with periodic visits to work sites.
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required and must be worn when on jobsite location:
- Safety Glasses (Provided by employer)
- Hard hats (Provided by employer)
- FRC (fire retardant clothing) attire (Provided by employer)
- Other as required by customer.
