Full description of the position

Technical Sales Representative
Location: Elgin, IL
Full -Time
Salary Range: $50k - $90K

Responsibilities:
  • Follow GMP and SQF requirements through the company’s quality management system
  • Establish an annual sales budget, while meeting or surpassing the previous years’ annual sales
  • Consistently increase account base and volume of sales
  • Develop opinion reports on strategies to increase the company’s market share
  • Stay up to date on market conditions regarding products, product updates, service offerings and new technologies
  • Maintain close contact with Technical Service on new applications and new enzymes in development that could lead to new mutually beneficial and economically feasible product

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in biochemistry or chemistry (Food science is a plus)
  • Prior sales experience preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License - Must meet insurance underwriting requirements
