Full description of the position

We are looking to onboard a result-oriented Director of Fundraising & Investor Relations who will have tremendous latitude and responsibility to spearhead our capital raise initiatives. The Director of Fundraising & Investor Relations will oversee proactive investor relations leadership and act as the company's main point of contact for capital raising activity. The core audiences for our fundraising efforts include Accredited Investors, Family Offices, Fund-of-Funds, RIAs, Wealth Management Firms, Endowments, and Sovereign Wealth Funds. We’ll be prioritizing candidates who have already demonstrated substantial success in sourcing capital from at least some of these LP categories - and are willing to dive in and quickly master the art of raising from the remaining categories on the above list. Candidates who bring their own robust networks of investor leads across some of the above LP categories are strongly encouraged to apply.

The Director of Fundraising & Investor Relations will lead the investor relations team and will make sure that monthly and quarterly capital raising goals are met by applying their expertise in sales pipeline management. This individual will work closely with the Senior Management Team and report to the firm’s managing partners.

Responsibilities:

· Lead sales efforts: drive behaviors that maximize capital-raising and investor relations efforts

· Develop and lead training with the team to continue to hone skills within real-life investor scenarios

· Initiate Focused Daily New Prospect Calls

· Initiate Daily existing Investor calls

· Hold Face to Face 1 on 1 Investor Prospect Meetings

· Hold Quarterly Investor Review Meetings

· Gather referrals from current Investors

· Systematized process for ongoing outreach to LP prospects that generates a steady stream of scheduled meetings

· Thoughtfully organized, readily maintained CRM of the firm’s existing & prospective LPs

· Standard workflow for checking in with existing & prospective LPs periodically

· Establish and manage a strong, multifaceted investor relations program with the goal of reaching out to accredited prospects to boost investor awareness and to accomplish the company's long-term mission.

· Reach and surpass monthly and quarterly team capital raise targets.

· On a regular basis, review and adjust key messages, investor presentations, and Q&A materials to reflect company messaging.

· Leading and making sure each member of the team is hitting monthly capital raise quotas.

· Hire, train, develop and lead highly talented individuals and sales professionals.

· Manage the company's attendance at investor events, including setting up one-on-one meetings with investors and roadshow activities, as well as selecting the right investors (new or old) for each such event.

· Answer questions from investors and analysts and give essential details about the company's operations, business plans, and other publicly available corporate news releases.

· Create a creative, effective, and efficient investor relations plan with a full calendar of IR activities to optimize visibility and outreach.

Required Experience, skills, and Education:

· Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred (advanced degrees are a plus, but not a necessity)

· High net worth investor experience

· Real estate investment experience

· High energy, positive, incredible team members

· An experienced top-level Leadership team

· Mastery of implementing effective sales pipeline strategies and management using CRM software and platforms, such as Hubspot or Salesforce

· Investor relations experience required.

· Master of prospecting, sales, negotiation, follow up and most importantly relationship building.

· Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including the ability to craft powerful and engaging messages.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Extensive experience leading sales teams and proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas and/or company growth metrics YOY

· Strong understanding of SEC disclosure rules and regulations.

· Proactive, high-energy, and collaborative leadership.

· Demonstrated planning and project management capabilities that will drive strong short-term and long-term execution.

· Demonstrated analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills. Highly developed ability to describe the technical aspects of our business in terms various audiences can comprehend.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
