Ayden Healthcare is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to create and implement the business plan, and oversee all aspects of the Business Development initiatives. The successful candidate will be an energetic and enthusiastic team player who prefers working in a fast-paced environment and has experience working in Long-Term Care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Responsible for developing/maintaining professional relationships with case managers, Physicians and clinicians; educating staff, patients and families on the services provided.

· Responsible for ensuring a smooth, efficient admission process for new patients, working in collaboration with the patient, hospital physicians, families and facility staff

· Completes pre-admission screening assessments.

· Responds to inquiries for potential patient admissions and serves as a resource for general admission questions.

· Facilitates admission by obtaining all patient information through a thorough and comprehensive patient assessment.

· Completes appropriate patient admission and assessment documentation including insurance pre-certifications in collaboration with central intake.

· Serves as a liaison between the patient, hospital physicians, families, and insurance providers.

· Must have healthcare experience and at least one-year LTC experience
