Job Summary
The Market Development Representative (MDR) is responsible for identifying new opportunities to increase revenue, investigating and resolving customer complaints, and strategically negotiating the terms of service with customers to close sales. The MDR is also responsible for taking the necessary steps to develop an in-depth understanding of the latest clinical data offered by our organization.

The duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice. The essential job duties and responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to the following:
- Foster the growth of Worksite Lab’s services by closing new accounts, maintaining, and increasing sales volume of current accounts; establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and growth opportunities; manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage the business development team for next steps.
- Meet and exceed all Key Performance Indicators (KPI) established by Senior Team Members for all company services.
- Participate in conferences and local meetings to generate leads for potential clients and increase awareness of services provided.
- Maintain all prospects and current client information in sales database on a daily basis, attend sales meetings, and respond to emails in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with business development team by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to routine meetings
- Monitor and attend meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-up with the business development team
- Remain the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
- Identify best practices to refine the company's lead generation protocol
- Work cross functionally with business development, marketing and other departments
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university not required but highly preferred
- Two to four years of medical/laboratory sales experience with a proven track record of growth is highly preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $64,480.00 - $70,720.00 per year
