Full description of the position

Job Description: Senior Account Executive - Inside Sales

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for building the PCS Software client base and procuring new business by contacting new prospects, closing multi-year licensing agreements, up-selling existing accounts with new features and service level agreements or additional licenses, and making customer retention plays. This requires strong product knowledge, excellent written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as consistent follow-through and solid organizational skills in order to provide best-in-class service to our transportation and logistics customers.
Responsibilities

  • Follow-up with current lead opportunities and contact new prospects via outbound calling
  • Strategically build a strong pipeline to ensure quota is consistently met
  • Coordinate with the Platform Engineers to schedule demonstrations that highlight specific elements of the PCS platform
  • Deliver amazing customer service to our clients and potential clients as an ambassador and face of the company and become a trusted advisor and business partner to our customers by understanding the domain specific needs that challenge the transportation and logistics software industry and leveraging the value of our platform, services, and training platform on PCS University
  • Identify decision makers and establish relationships with key players to generate interest and close accounts.
  • You will manage customer accounts until the hand-off to the Regional Manager of Customer Success and during any trial or introductory period to ensure a top-of-class experience.

  • You are accountable to meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly quotas in an extremely competitive environment that offers fun, excitement, and challenges with opportunities for extreme financial rewards and an annual President’s Club trip and recognition ceremony for qualified top sales team performers that exceed 125% of their annual sales quota.
  • You will complete the full sales cycle monthly filled with potential prospects beginning with the initial contact and then with constant follow-up calls, negotiate and close sales agreements, and closely champion your clients from pre-sales phase through to the implementation process.
