Job Description
Roza Estates Wine & Spirits, the maker of Silver Lake Wines, Roza Hills Estate Wines, Brown Box Wines and Vitis Spirits is seeking an outside salesperson or a broker entity with experience, knowledge and relationships to grow the company’s brands nationwide with an emphasis in the Pacific Northwest. This is one of the few supplier-based positions that provides experience and the ability to sell both wine and spirits alcoholic products. The Brand Manager is an independent position who will work closely with the President/CEO for the management and oversight of all sales and marketing operations of all our products sold. The position is based in the Seattle, WA area. The successful candidate must maintain their own office but will be required to frequently travel primarily in the Pacific Northwest and to the company headquarters in Zillah, WA.
The Brand Manager is ultimately charged with increasing the sales of wine and spirits in their market. This includes direct responsibility for key on and off premise accounts, increasing sales and securing new distribution in existing and new accounts and working closely with the distributor network to maintain and develop all accounts.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Work cooperatively within the wine and spirits team to promote the sales of related company’s products including keeping yourself educated on company portfolio and selling these items into accounts.
- Meet with distributor management to set and evaluate annual goals, promotions, and distributor rides on a quarterly basis.
- Assist distributor with submitting products, making presentations, and increasing sales in chain accounts.
- Meet with distributor sales reps on a regular basis including General Sales Meeting, Regional Sales Meetings and ride-withs to achieve promo placements, staff training, new bottle placements, in retail accounts.
- When not working with distributor, visit approximately 8-10 accounts per day.
- Create a key account list of at least 100 accounts and make regular calls to these accounts to retain/develop existing distribution, secure new distribution, make timely presentations and introduce new and “limited release” products.
- Attend off-site events to represent and pour company products.
- Attend required on-site events at winery in Zillah WA to assist staff as required.
- Travel to company sales meetings, participate in market blitzes in other territories and otherwise work with other members of the team to execute and achieve the sales plan.
- Complete necessary administrative reporting monthly and communications on a timely basis.
- Maintain and achieve all sales goals and personal budgets outlined to you and your area.
- Other duties as periodically required.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and at least 3 years of sales experience; ideally in the three-tier distribution system either with an alcohol wholesaler or alcohol supplier.
- Strong knowledge of the spirits and wine industry and the history of Roza Estates and their product offerings.
- Willing to work in an environment that rewards achievement and accomplishments. This positon pays based upon a modest base salary with added commission and bonuses that can achieve higher than industry averages for those who can succeed.
- Excellent communications skills (i.e. presentation, interpersonal, written, etc.) including strong persuasion and negotiation skills are essential.
- Must own a Windows laptop and a smart phone or tablet PC (iPad).
- Strong computer skills including knowledge of windows and all Microsoft Office Suite products.
- A driver’s license with a clean driver’s record is crucial with a reliable, registered, and insured vehicle.
- Must be willing to work more than 45 hours per week and lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to travel and work flexible hours/days including nights and weekends.
