Responsibilities
- Support customers to solve complex Technical challenges when using Wireless test solutions from LitePoint.
- Manage technical issues by working with internal teams to get the resolution and meet project deadlines.
- Support design activities at customer labs as well as help them prepare for manufacturing builds with optimum test solution.
- Be the expert of wireless communication standards, automated test requirements, and RF physical layers to guide customers with correct approach for wireless testing.
- Work with internal and external customers, partners, and peers to define requirements for new projects and perform necessary QA to validate solutions before release.
- Build and maintain strong customer relations at a technical level, to gain further insight to direction and needs of the customer
Basic Qualifications & Skills
- Knowledge of basics of RF and understanding of RF transmitter, receiver architecture.
- Knowledge of RF PHY layer for at least one of the wireless communications standards such as:
- 802.11 WLAN preferred
- 802.15 Bluetooth preferred
- 802.15z Ultra-Wideband (UWB) preferred
- 3GPP Cellular
- Familiar with RF/system level test equipment such Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Oscilloscope etc.
- Strong inter-personal skills and enjoys interacting and working with people.
- Strong troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written, verbal and presentation skills
- Experience working with automated test programs and scripts in C/ C++ and Python.
- Test and measurement experience in the wireless telecom industry is a plus.
Must be able to work full-time in San Jose office
Education
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
Bachelor or higher degree in electronic/computer engineering or related fields
