Position: Sr. Digital Sales Executive

Status: Full-time, Exempt

Salary: Base salary of$28,600 ($550/week) + commission. Tiered commission available ($36,400 annual) paid monthly at 30% to 100% based on monthly performance to goal. Above goal commission paid at 12% of above goal sales.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Location: Hybrid on Site/Remote

About this role:

The Sr. Digital Sales Executive is responsible for the production of regional and national advertising revenue by selling products and services through in-field, face-to-face or virtual contact while working within a team environment to serve the customer, company, fellow employees, and self.

What you'll do:

SALES

  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure achievement of goals and continued revenue/territory growth.
  • Gather and/or affirm information on the customers' current promotion plans and digital brand footprint.
  • Determine the promotion mix needs of advertising customers or prospective customers by assembling and maintaining an information base on the client.
  • Develop an in-depth profile regarding the customer’s consumer targets segmented by geographic, demographic and lifestyles, their current promotion mix and their positioning strategy.
  • Conduct a strategic analysis of the customer or prospective customer’s information base to establish or affirm if and how our products and/or services can function as an advertising and sales promotion solution.
  • Present the findings of the analysis to the customer.
  • Ask for commitment from the advertising customer or prospective customer. This includes some negotiations and some analysis of rates, schedules, and budget.

SELF-MANAGEMENT

  • Collaborate with team coach and team members to develop a strategic success plan that aligns to department goals, a team territory plan and an individual account and call plan.

ORDER FULFILLMENT

  • Ensure that all advertising for clients is published in accordance with established rates, contracts, processes, standards, and policies.
  • Monitor campaign performance, communicate with customers, and adjust marketing strategies as necessary based on results and goals.
  • Monitor and manage account financial activity in compliance with company policies and procedures.

What you'll contribute to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent demonstrated work experience. Preferred concentration in advertising, or digital marketing
  • Two or more years active experience in advertising and/or digital marketing desired
  • Ability to function in a cross function, self-directed team environment
  • Ability to function under varying degrees of pressure
  • Ability to assume a leadership role with the customer and team
  • Must be a creative thinker and problem solver
  • Ability to meet with customers virtually or in the field (face to face)
  • Regular attendance is a condition of employment
  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills
  • Intermediate level using Microsoft Office Products including Word for Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Entry to Intermediate level using virtual meeting platforms such as Teams or Zoom.
