Full description of the position

Leader in Broadcast and Media Sales is seeking a driven Media Sales Representative to join their growing team in Santa Barbara, CA! This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual with some sales experience. The Company offers continuous training to ensure success in the role as well as opportunities for internal growth.

Schedule: 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday

Salary: Starting at $40K annually + commission

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and calling potential clients
  • Build and maintain a full pipeline of potential clients
  • Work with clients to determine what opportunities will meet their goals or needs
  • Investigate and resolve client issues
  • Ensure prompt payments
  • Generate advertising revenue, grow and maintain active accounts
  • Meet and exceed sales targets in a manner that will reflect a high level of professionalism and skill while selling and servicing the Palmdale/Lancaster areas
  • Participate in training sessions to continue to grow and develop skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
  • 0 to 4 years of experience in a sales setting
  • Persuasive communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation
  • Understanding of basic business practices
