JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking a self-motivated Technical Sales Associate, preferably with experience in the field of RF and Microwave components. This sales associate will need an entrepreneurial spirit and
“hunter” mentality to successfully drive component sales in a B2B distribution environment.
Using a consultative sales approach, the Technical Sales Associate will provide engineered solutions designed to remove sales barriers and create pull-through sales opportunities to meet individual revenue and customer growth goals.
Additionally, the Technical Sales Associate is expected to learn the products to serve as technical support by answering technical questions regarding product specifications.
KEY RESPONIBILITIES
- Act as the key customer contact for initiated sales opportunities.
- Process customer orders, requests for quotes, product returns, etc. through the company’s sales software and ERP system, which represents roughly 80% of day-to-day activity.
- Resolve customer issues, questions, and complaints in a professional and collaborative manner.
- Perform customer discovery and recommend appropriate products and/or engineered solutions
- Utilize sales tools and software to effectively track, expedite, and follow-up on outstanding orders, while ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with B2B customers and suppliers.
- Become proficient in selling franchised component lines.
- Demonstrate initiative to improve professional skills and department processes.
- Continuously work to find and secure new leads using a variety of methods available (i.e., calling, networking, social media, leads from suppliers, etc.)
- Learn technical attributes of electronic components through self-study and engage in technical education and training as required.
- Build the necessary skills required to grow into a part-time outside sales role.
QUALIFICATIONS & CORE COMPENTENCIES
- Associates degree in electronics or technology-related areas of study or three to five (3 to
5) years equivalent experience is desired.
- B2B sales experience of electronics components is highly desired (preferably in RF and
Microwave electronics).

- Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- Must pass an employment background check.
- Must be a United States citizen.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
