The Athleticus® is a small and ambitious startup. We are a boutique gym focusing on strength, conditioning, movement with purpose, intention, and sustainability. Technical Requirements:

• 2+ years of successful sales experience the fitness space are required
• Team leadership and staff development experience is required
• Proven ability to focus on growing the personal training business while developing an elite training staff to expand their clientele and increase retention through quality and personalized programming
• Experience and passion for building a strong book of business, aka sales
• Strong lead nurture skills
• Leadership and management experience to effectively onboard team members and clients
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple schedules
• You are certified through a top-tier, nationally accredited Personal Training certification, as you may occasionally be required to backfill a trainer
• You can pass a background check and drug screen upon request
• Possession of authorization to work in the US
• CPR and First Aid Certification required
• A combination of weekday mornings and evenings availability is vital for this role, with late morning availability and Saturday availability being nice to have.
• Degrees in exercise science, nutrition/dietetics (RD), athletic training, etc. preferred but not required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Drive the revenue of the Personal Training program for the club.
• Sell Personal Training programs and conduct fitness assessments with members.
• Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and onboarding new personal training team members; hold personal training staff accountable for providing excellent customer service to their clients.
• Nurture leads and follow up with prospects
• Manage client onboarding by providing facility tours, app familiarization and a match to the best personal trainer to help achieve their goals
• Manage facility use and resources so that personal training and group fitness classes maximize space while providing the highest level of service to our clients.
• Please note this is a commission-based role, with a base salary
