Design Consultant/Sales Associate
Sales - Furniture & Rugs
NW Rugs & Furniture is a locally grown luxury rug and furniture company started in 1992 (31 years ago!) We are looking for people with a passion for creating beautiful spaces for our clientele. JOB DESCRIPTION: Educate our guests on the features and benefits of our large product offering. Create satisfied customers through honest, knowledgeable and ethical selling practices. Consult with clients in a timely manner to establish their decor needs, and identify product solutions within the showroom. Work collaboratively with the showroom team and other showrooms to meet the needs of clients and to promote sales. Actively participate in ongoing, industry specific sales training. Present a consistent, professional appearance and image.

Training: Your interview and training will be at our Clackamas location, 12670 SE 82nd Clackamas OR 97015. We want to make sure you are set up to succeed so training can be up to 90 days.

QUALIFICATIONS: Direct face to face sales experience a plus but we will train. You bring your people skills, we'll teach you the product and sales technique. Basic computer skills -- Word, Excel, email, web. Be team-oriented and work collaboratively to achieve team goals. Be assertive, enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible. Can be trusted to maintain confidentiality and advocate company values. Ability to work flexible retail hours including weekends, evenings and most holidays. Must be able to repeatedly push, pull, and lift 40lbs. May require a pre-hire background check.
