The Job:

We are currently seeking a talented and dynamic public relations senior account executive to join our growing team. A successful candidate will have passion, an independent-but-also-collaborative work ethic, a hardworking attitude, and loads of enthusiasm. The Work:

• Work closely with the senior team to execute strategic communications campaigns

• Develop client reports, meeting agendas, and press materials

• Contribute to the creation of communications plans that meet client objectives

• Draft and develop communications (internal and external)

• Outreach to various media outlets and secure consistent and quality media placements

• Communicate with clients and key members of the media via email, phone, virtual and in-person

• Provide client service support: attend meetings, meet deadlines, troubleshoot problems, draft recaps

• Write, edit and proofread materials ensuring quality and consistency with appropriate writing styles

• Identify and work with media; demonstrate a network of traditional and online media contacts

• Supervise staff junior on projects

• Commit to continuous learning through RPR University and other training opportunities

The Fine Print:

• B.A./B.S. in public relations, journalism, business communications, or related field

• Agency experience required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience with national and local media, and a track record in securing press coverage

• Media contacts and relationships

• Ability to work in a team environment and take direction in a fast-paced environment

• Advanced ability to multitask clients, projects, and deadlines

• Proactive, creative, and detail-oriented

• Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality

• Creative, polished, and energetic personality
