The Role

The Director, Franchise Sales & Development, part of the Full Service & Lifestyle team is responsible for prospecting and qualification of franchise opportunities in the WA, OR, ID, NV and MT regions for Ramada, Trademark, TRYP, Wyndham and Wyndham Garden Inn.

What you'll do

The Director, Franchise Sales & Development is responsible for sourcing new franchise agreements working with existing franchisees, and prospecting for new franchisees, negotiation of deal terms and Property Improvement Plans, execution of hotel franchise agreements, relationship management and attendance at industry events, and submittal of forecasts and general reporting. In addition:

  • Prospecting and Qualifying Applicants, Location, and Deals.
  • Networking/Industry Event Attendance.
  • Negotiate Terms and Execution of Contracts.
  • Manage Relationships.
  • Forecasting/Reporting.


The Director, Franchise Sales & Development is required to travel approximately 80% of time. Travel will be predominantly focused on lead generation and customer relationship management in the U.S.


You'll be successful if you have

  • Extensive sales experience.
  • Proven achievement in sales by exceeding quotas.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Aptitude to evaluate pro-forma and feasibility studies for new construction projects.
  • New Construction Development Knowledge.
  • A desire to travel.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years experience in business/relationship development.
  • Outside Sales and/or Franchise Sales & Development experience highly preferred.
